How do I get a mooring for a houseboat in Bristol Uk without having to assassinate someone? I've asked about and everyone says there is a 3-7 year waiting list for small moorings let alone one big enough to take the 78 foot barge I'm longing to buy, but there is little point in buying it if I can't move it to Bristol as that's where I want to live.
